Upcoming Events

Thursday, September 21, 2017, 8:30am-12:30pm Eastern Time, NCWCP Conference Center
“Leading People through Change ‐ Transition Management”
Invited Speaker: Tony Chatman

Targeted participants: supervisors, team leads, and project leads

Description: It happened again…a new regulation, a new technology, etc. And you have 60 days to implement a streamlined process and get everyone on board. Now more than ever, you’ll need people, process, and technology to work together. And you don't have time to waste.

Organizational transformations are always about people; it is always people who have to embrace a new situation and carry out the corresponding change. Transition is difficult and if poorly managed, the results can be disastrous. In this interactive workshop, you will learn how lead effectively in order to achieve change.

Get buy‐in fast from every team member. Specifically, you will learn how to:

  • Identify and overcome the most common barriers to accepting change
  • Understand why people resist change even when the new way is better for them
  • Recognize why, where, and how people, even good people, often derail
  • Learn how to turn adversaries into advocates

Friday, September 22, 2017, 8:30am-12:30pm Eastern Time, NCWCP Conference Center

Invited Speaker: Tony Chatman

Targeted participants: anyone who is experiencing dealing with change

Description: It happened again, a new law, a new technology, or another brilliant idea from someone who doesn’t actually have to do the work of implementing it, and now you have to stop everything you’re doing and learn the “new way.”

Now more than ever, life is about adapting. Change is everywhere and there’s no way to avoid it. This interactive workshop reveals how to train yourself to embrace times of change and uncertainty.

Specifically, you will learn how to:

  • The difference between change and transition and why it's important
  • The emotional and psychological process we all go through when experiencing change
  • Powerful strategies for moving forward with the organization not getting left behind
  • The secret to lasting mind shift in embracing change during times of uncertainty
